The first draft of the R2v3 Standard was released for public review on April 2, 2019, followed by a public comment period lasting through May 20, 2019. At the end of this period, all comments were compiled and provided to the R2 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) for consideration. The list of all comments and recommendations received during this initial round have been grouped by provision and can be downloaded below. (Individual or company names and references have been removed.) The “recommended changes” in the report are those that have been recommended by the public.
The TAC has started its review and consideration of the 493 comments received and will be determining where changes need to be made. Any proposed changes to the R2v3 draft will be posted for a second round of public review and comment. The TAC will consider all comments after each round of feedback. The final disposition of each comment will be provided in an updated report at the end of each round.
